Stephen Phillips is the author of Remote Viewing of Subatomic Particles (Evidence of a Yogic Siddhi) published by the Theosophical Publishing House in 1996, which was a reprint of a paper presented at the Third International Conference on Frontiers in Yogi Research and Applications (23-27 December 1995).

He is also the author of Extra-sensory Perception of Quarks (TPH: USA, 1980), which related Annie Besant's and C.W. Leadbeater's clairvoyant observations of subatomic particles (as well as quarks) to particle physics.

His book ESP of Quarks and Superstrings, which extends his earlier work, was published in 1999 by New Age International Publishers.(New Delhi, India)

His scientific paper: Composite Quark and Hadron-Lepton Unification (Physics Letters, volume 84B, number 1), was published by the North Holland Press in 1979, proposing a theory that unified particle interactions and predicted that quarks are not fundamental but are composed of three more basic particles ('subquarks').
